Friends
& Neighbors,

Due
to the forecasted inclement weather, the Streets Department has made the
decision to postpone the 9th Annual Philly Spring Cleanup until SATURDAY, APRIL
16th. The clean up at Carpenter Green and volunteer after party
scheduled for tomorrow has been canceled. Our Clean Block Reps will still hold
block clean ups on either the 9th or the 16th, but instead of the volunteer
party at Carpenter Green we suggest that everyone unwinds after the clean up at
the

Springtime Pub Stroll on South Street West!
The
SOSNA Safety Committee will also be hosting a
Bike
Registration Event with our friends at Point Breeze CDC on Saturday, April
16th from 10 am to 12 pm. Bring your bike to 20th and Federal to register with
the
17th
District's Bicycle Registry System. All you need to do is bring your bike,
it only takes a few minutes to sign up and ensure you're protected.
Next
week, join us in the Chester Arthur Elementary Library for the
April
General Meeting. Both the Friends of Chester Arthur and Stanton Community
Partners will have an update on their exciting new playgrounds, the Streets
Department will discuss their Multifamily Recycling Initiative, and lastly, the
team from the NW corner of Broad and Washington will join us for an
informational presentation on the project.
