Donate an item to the Celebration of Center City Living
 
We are currently collecting items for our silent auction. So, if you have that unused Wedding Day or Birthday present you don't want, please consider donating it to us. [shhh..don't worry, we won't tell the other person where we got it ;-)] .  Print and fill out this form, then  mail it to our office along with your item (1608 Walnut St, 12th Floor, Phila. PA. 19103) or contact Travis Oliver (215-546-6719) our Operations Manager, if you would like to drop it off.
 
On Thursday, 5/10, 6pm, at the Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Sq. (1906 Rittenhouse Sq.), CCRA will hold its annual Celebration of Center City Living event. This year's theme is "Urban Village," where will we celebrate and honor Paul Levy, CEO and Founder of Philadelphia Center City District. CCD is known for creating Dilworth Park, Two Sisters Park, Restaurant Week and other events which brings our Urban Village to life.
Office Closure

In observance of Holy Week, CCRA will close at 2pm on Friday, 3/30, and will reopen on Mon, 4/1.
Bike Lanes on Spruce and Pine Streets

Join CCRA board members to learn more about plans for the existing bicycle lanes on Spruce and Pine Streets at a meeting hosted by Philadelphia's Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems on Wednesday, 4/4, 6-7:30pm, Merck Education Center, Kimmel Center, 300 S. Broad Street.
 
CCRA board members will be there, identified by CCRA stickers.  Please identify yourself to them as we would like to hear our members' thoughts on the proposed changes.  Please see the embedded press release and flyers for more information. 
Spring Work Day at the Community Garden

The first of the three required work days begin on Saturday, 4/7, 9am - 1pm (rain date- Sun, 4/8), 25th and Spruce Streets. Lunch will be provided. If you have them, bring gardening gloves and hand-held clippers with you. If you're a new gardener, a list of the chores we need to accomplish is posted on the garden website.  

If you're unable to come on 4/7, you'll be contacted and given a list of alternate chores you can do. Waiting list plot holders are welcome to attend, but not required to do so.

Need a Tree Planted in front of your Home?
 
Fill out this form to request a street tree from Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. Approved trees will be planted in April or November if the local Tree Tenders group is planting at that time. Approved trees will be planted free of charge.

Schuylkill River Park Community Garden Annual Meeting

Tonight, Thursday, 3/22, at 7pm, the Annual Meeting will be held at Trinity Memorial Church, 22nd and Spruce Streets.  There will be light refreshments offered before the meeting starts, so plan on coming a little early.  A speaker from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will be there.

Di Bruno Bros Membership Update
 
Di Bruno Bros. will continue to offer a 10% discount for all CCRA individuals that were members as of 2/28/18 and who were members in calendar year 2017 at the Rittenhouse location and at Di Bruno Bros. Catering. Show your CCRA membership card to the cashiers and they will hand you a Di Bruno discount card.  The discount will only apply to the Rittenhouse location located at 18th & Chestnut.
