Office Closure

In observance of Labor Day, CCRA is closed on Monday, 9/2.  The office will reopen on Tuesday, 9/3.
Trash Collection

In observance of Labor Day, no trash will be collected on Monday, 9/2.  Garbage collection will resume on Tuesday, 9/3.

Peace Day Events at the Ethical Society

Friday, Sept. 20, 6:00 to 6:45 p.m

In front of the Philadelphia Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Square. Come sing some songs of freedom and justice. Free and open to the public.

Friday, Sept. 20, 7:00 p.m.

Screening of the Film: "Before the Flood"  
Free and open to the public. Donations of $10 suggested to benefit  350.org and Peace Day Philly.  This 2016 documentary about climate change has been described by The Guardian as a "heartfelt, decent, educational" documentary about the most important issue of our time. 

Saturday, Sept 21, 11 am

Philly Peace Day and the United Nations Day of Peace
Philadelphia Ethical Society invites all to join together to observe the International Day of Peace. Music, special guests, global messages and the minute of silence at 12 noon (worldwide action in all time zones). 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., center of Rittenhouse Square.
Tai Chi at Markward Playground
Beginning Tuesday, 9/24.  Achieve a healthier mind, body and spirit by practicing this Chinese martial art.  To reserve a spot, click or tap here.
Naudain Art Collaborative Call for Artists

Naudain Art Collaborative (NAC), a group of artists in the Fitler Square area, is now accepting entries for its First Juried Community Exhibition to be held on November 2 and 3, 2019 from 12 noon to 6 pm. Center city artists age 18 and older are invited to submit entries no later than Saturday, September 7. Mark your calendars for the weekend of September 14-15 for our first clean-up of the Fall season!

Step out and clean up your block during SOSNA's Fall Neighborhood-Wide Clean Up Weekend! Our Clean Block Reps around the neighborhood will be organizing their blocks on Saturday, Sept. 14 and Sunday, Sept. 15.

Don't have a Clean Block Rep participating? Start your own clean up and come our office to check out clean up supplies and tools. We have bags, grabbers, rakes, shovels, gloves, and more!
