SEPTA Begins Phasing Out Token Sales

On 1/22, SEPTA began phasing out token sales at all Market Frankford and Broad Street Line Train Stations. The phase-out will be completed by the end of February.  All riders are encouraged to get a SEPTA Keycard.  Here is the schedule of when token sales at cashier booths and vending machines will be ending at each station on the BSL and MFL.  While tokens will no longer be sold at these locations, riders can still use tokens in the farebox and to purchase quick trip tickets at subway stations and to add funds to their keycard.   2, 5, and 10 packs of tokens will continue to be available at SEPTA Sales Center City locations (Jefferson Station, 30th St Station, Suburban Station, 15th St, 8th St, Walnut-Locust and 1234 Market St) until March.
