PA Senate Campaign Debate Coming to a Screen Near You! 3/25/2020 @ 7PM

CCRA is going online for our debate between PA State Sen. Larry Farnese and Challenger Nikil Saval, since getting together IRL isn't going to happen.  Stay tuned for technical details.  Audience questions have been an important part of CCRA-sponsored debates. Please email your questions to  centercity@centercityresidents.org, with "debate question" in the subject line.  Just like IRL debates, questions will be prioritized because there won't be time for all of them.
Update on CCRA and Covid-19

It has been reported that earlier this week, the Wework Corp., where CCRA has its office, received notice that an employee at one of the business spaces tested positive for the coronavirus.  The last time the employee was in the office was March 11.  Until further notice, the building, located at 1900 Market St, is closed as Wework does a thorough cleaning and disinfecting.  No date has been set to reopen.

CCRA is operating with very limited services - which includes processing memberships. If you mailed your membership dues, it will not be processed until the office reopens. If you would like to speak with Travis Oliver please email him at centercity@centercityresidents.org

SEPTA Services

As of today, SEPTA will be operating on a Saturday schedule, 7 days a week until further notice.

Stay Safe!
Earlier this week, we sent this survey to our members regarding your opinions about the issues that concern us all.

Your opinion is very important to us and will help guide us in prioritizing the issues and concerns of most importance to our center city community. All responses will be anonymous and confidential.
Please complete the survey by March 20, 2020.

If you have already taken the survey, thank you.
Wanted: Board Member Candidates

CCRA is looking to fill several Board seats for our fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020.  Board members generally serve a term of 3 years. The Board is a working Board.  We are seeking CCRA members who have a passion for living in "CCRAville;" are interested in issues of quality of life and community service; and are committed to active Board participation.  Successful candidates must serve on at least one committee and agree to fulfill the responsibilities set forth in our Board Pledge, which includes devoting at least four hours per month on CCRA activities, not including time spent attending, and preparing for, monthly Board meetings. See website for full Pledge and list of committees.

Interested members are encouraged to forward a resume or summary of qualifications as soon as practicable to:  CCRA; 1900 Market St., 8th Fl.; Phila., PA   19103 or by email:
centercity@centercityresidents.org, with "Board Candidate" in the subject line.
And finally, we would like to say thank you to Pennock Floral, DFW Design, and Fabufloras Design for decorating Rittenhouse Square and putting a smile on everyone's faces

Would you like to be a member of CCRA?  It's easy to join.
