Volunteer to Plant the Garden at St. Mary's Church Shelter

Bethesda Project was honored to be a featured nonprofit at the CCRA's Annual auction in April. Stay involved with Bethesda Project this spring and summer by volunteering to plant the garden at St. Mary's Church Shelter! St. Mary's church has an attached small courtyard with raised garden beds. The guests of St. Mary's Church are looking for a group of individuals who can supply plants, garden soil, and time to help them make the garden beautiful. This activity can take place during the day or in the early evening with advanced planning. If you and your group are interested in this opportunity, contact Bethesda Project's Volunteer Manager, Sarah Erdo, at (215) 236-7850 or by e-mailing serdo@bethesdaproject.org.

Make Your Business Our Business

Sometimes life throws you some unexpected curves.  CCRA Member and owner of Center City Notary and Center City Apostille, Judith Lawrence is the author of the new book entitled
Make Your Business Our Business.  The book is a step-by-step guideline as to how to become an entrepreneur.  Whether a notary business or a knit shop, Judith and co-author Daniel C. Lewis outline the steps including policiesprocedures and profits.  Lawrence and Lewis believe this book will be a community initiative and will encourage the "entrepreneur" in everyone.
