For our live auction, Mr. Levy has graciously volunteered to lead a tour of ten people on a pre-opening of the Viaduct Rail Park. In addition, there's also a chance to bid on a weekly stay at a fabulous summer home in Cape May, NJ. Our newest silent auction item includes two tickets to see Taylor Swift during her "Reputation Stadium Tour."
 
Purchase your tickets today for a night of celebration, live music, food, wine, and fun. Ticket prices are $75 ($80 at the door). We look forward to seeing you at our Urban Village.

CCRA Annual Meeting, Wed, 5/23, Academy of Vocal Arts, 1920 Spruce St, 7pm
 
Join CCRA for its 2018 Annual Meeting.  
Following a brief business session, CCRA will turn the program over to an esteemed panel to discuss current issues in development in Center City.  The panel will include Anne Fadullon (Director of Philadelphia Department of Planning and Development), Jon Geeting (Director of Engagement for Philly 3.0) and Paul Steinke (Executive Director of the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia).  Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Inga Saffron of the Philadelphia Inquirer will serve as moderator. 
 
This is sure to be an exciting, through-provoking event.  The Annual Meeting is open to all, although only CCRA members are entitled to vote during the business session.  Food and refreshments will follow.

Fitler Square Spring Fair May 11 and 12

The Fitler Square Improvement Association will hold its annual spring fair at the park at 23rd and Pine Streets, Friday, May 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday, May 12, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Over 30 vendors selling crafts, antiques, jewelry, etc. will surround Fitler Square, and inside the park for sale will be a plants, herbs, used toys, books, Fitler Square shirts and stationary, food and baked goods. Local talent will be entertaining each afternoon. All proceeds of the Fair benefit the year-round maintenance and greening of the lovely park.
Craft Fair in Rittenhouse Square May 11 - 13

The 2018 bi-annual Rittenhouse Square Fine Craft Fair, organized in partnership with the PA Guild of Craftsmen and the Friends of Rittenhouse Square will be held from 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Friday and Saturday, May 11 and 12, to Sunday, May 13, 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM. One hundred forty (140) of the Guild's finest craft artists are expected to participate. In addition, the Friends of Rittenhouse Square will host an Outdoor Café on 18th Street on Saturday during the show in partnership with Rouge, Devon Seafood Grill and Parc. The Craft Fair will return October 12 - 14.
Ladybug Release Party, Wed, May 16, 25th and Spruce St.

CCRA's Schuylkill River Park Community Garden (SRPCG) invites all SRPCG and CCRA children (and their well-behaved adult guests) to their annual Ladybug Release Party at 5pm, Wednesday, May 16, at the garden located at 25
th and Spruce Streets, rain* or shine.
 
Hot dogs and drinks will be served, but all guests are requested to bring a healthy snack or dessert to share. If you plan to attend, please RSVP jacbjs@gmail.com by Tuesday, May 15.
 
*Check email for last minute cancellation in the event of a thunderstorm. 
Society Hill 40th Annual Open House & Garden Tour, Sun, 5/20, 1 to 5pm, rain or shine
 
Join Society Hill Civic Association for a delightful, self-guided walking tour of a collection of private homes and gardens in historic Society Hill.  Walk the same streets as Benjamin Franklin and George Washington.  All the houses' architectural and interior styles range from the 18th and 19th Century to the most contemporary.  All new selection of houses each year.
