News And Updates
Images from Afghanistan

The images from Afghanistan this week were most troubling and distressing. People can debate what it means both politically and internationally.

But closer to home: What does it mean to you and yours? Does it give pause, does it cause a re-think, does it create a re-evaluation of the big picture?

Does it trigger a greater appreciation of the life you do have, and of those who put so much on the line to defend it?

Have we learned anything from this, are we better, brighter, bolder? Are there local or national causes you are more likely to support?

This is a poignant national moment, and should be treated accordingly.
