SOSNA COMMUNITY MEETINGWhat do you call the space at 23rd & South Street? We have come to call it “The Triangles” public space on 23rd & South Streets. The top triangle on South Street was converted from a thru-street to a car-free pedestrian plaza a little over a decade ago (you can read more about the history here). The efforts of many have created this fun space used for festivals, birthday parties, picnics and as a place to cool off in the hotter months. The other 2 triangles that go down Grays Ferry are in need of some desperate safety improvements, right?! As South of South Neighborhood Association (SOSNA) oversees this space, we’re hosting a community meeting to hear from you. Join us via ZOOM on Monday, March 8 at 6:30p. The meeting will be a great time to share what you envision for the space, identify volunteering opportunities to help us maintain the space and plan events. | |||||||||||||||||
