Motorists and Pedestrians Advised of Temporary Delays and Detours
There will
be temporary, intermittent street closures in Center City to accommodate a

Adjacent
cross streets will also be closed intermittently during this time. The street
closures will allow for the safe delivery of the heavy equipment, and are a
standard safety precaution. Due to the height of these buildings a helicopter
is needed to set these units. For safety reasons and because of the nature of
the work to be performed, the streets will be closed to vehicular and
pedestrian traffic.
The lift has
been scheduled for the weekend to minimize disruption to residents and
businesses. Police assistance will be on hand to ensure the safety of
motorists, pedestrians, and work crews for the duration of all closures.
