Tonight! CCRA Public Meeting on Property Reassessments

Join CCRA on Thursday, 5/17, starting at 6:30 p.m. at Tenth Presbyterian Church (1701 Delancey Street entrance) for a public meeting on the issue of property reassessments.

A few weeks ago the City's Office of Property Assessment sent out reassessment notices to property owners throughout Philadelphia.  Many homeowners now have questions about the reassessment process and seek information on how to appeal before the 5/25 deadline for submitting a request for First Level Review.

Come out to our public meeting to get answers.  At the public meeting will be a representative from the Office of Property Assessment as well as other knowledgeable resources.  The meeting is free to attend and open to the public.
CCRA Annual Meeting, Wed, 5/23, Academy of Vocal Arts, 1920 Spruce St, 7pm

Join CCRA for its 2018 Annual Meeting.
Following a brief business session, CCRA will turn the program over to an esteemed panel to discuss current issues in development in Center City.  The panel will include Anne Fadullon (Director of Philadelphia Department of Planning and Development), Jon Geeting (Director of Engagement for Philly 3.0) and Paul Steinke (Executive Director of the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia).  Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Inga Saffron of the Philadelphia Inquirer will serve as moderator.

This is sure to be an exciting, through-provoking event.  The Annual Meeting is open to all, although only CCRA members are entitled to vote during the business session.  Food and refreshments will follow.

Volunteer to Plant the Garden at St. Mary's Church Shelter

Bethesda Project was honored to be a featured nonprofit at the CCRA's Annual auction in April. Stay involved with Bethesda Project this spring and summer by volunteering to plant the garden at St. Mary's Church Shelter! St. Mary's church has an attached small courtyard with raised garden beds. The guests of St. Mary's Church are looking for a group of individuals who can supply plants, garden soil, and time to help them make the garden beautiful. This activity can take place during the day or in the early evening with advanced planning. If you and your group are interested in this opportunity, contact Bethesda Project's Volunteer Manager, Sarah Erdo, at (215) 236-7850 or by e-mailing serdo@bethesdaproject.org.
