We're getting excited! Get your Ticket today and Celebrate our Urban Village
 
CCRA is excited to announce its current sponsors for our Celebration of Center City Living: Urban Village, which is on Thursday, May 10, 6-8:30 pm, at the Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Sq. We strongly encourage all members and guests to RSVP for a night of cocktails and delicious hors d'oeuvres provided by classic local establishments.

Thank you to our current sponsors: AT&T, Brandywine Realty Trust, Independence Blue Cross, Boyds Philadelphia, Republic Bank, Robin Apartments, Trident Mortgage, Di Bruno Brothers, and Veda Restaurant, for helping us put together an evening of celebration, honoring this year's Lenora Berson Community Service Award winner Paul Levy.

CCRA is making this year's celebration a night to remember with our "Urban Village." We plan to illustrate this theme with specialized cocktails, village-like decor, and we will have several other fun additions such as our live and silent auction (a week stay at a fabulous Cape May home is one of the many great items up for grabs). Wine, beer, and other spirits will be available to go with the live music.

Spring Work Day at the Community Garden

The first of the three required work days begin on Saturday, 4/7, 9am - 1pm (rain date- Sun, 4/8), 25th and Spruce Streets. Lunch will be provided. If you have them, bring gardening gloves and hand-held clippers with you. If you're a new gardener, a list of the chores we need to accomplish is posted on the garden website.  

If you're unable to come on 4/7, you'll be contacted and given a list of alternate chores you can do. Waiting list plot holders are welcome to attend, but not required to do so.

Attention Bakers: Bethesda Project Needs Our Help

Bethesda Project is in need of some baked goods for their event, Taxing Metric, which is a bike ride to raise money. Do you like to bake? Would you like to help them out? If so, they need 10 dozen baked goods by Friday, April 13. They need muffins, breads, and cookies that have healthier ingredients like coconut, nuts, seeds, dates, honey, etc.  For more information, contact Sarah Erdo, Community Engagement Manager.
