SOSNA ZONING MEETING ZONING COMMITTEE MEETING JANUARY 17, 2017 | 7:00 PM SOSNA OFFICE, 1901 CHRISTIAN PHILADELPHIA, PA 19146

The Zoning Committee, a standing committee established by the SOSNA Board, holds monthly meetings to discuss all applications for zoning variances within the SOSNA boundary area. The purpose of the Zoning Committee Meeting is to provide a public forum for the discussion and review of all zoning variance applications occurring within the SOSNA boundary area. Through these meetings, residents of the SOSNA area are able to provide direct neighborhood input into this important civic decision-making process. All Zoning Committee Meeting attendees who reside within the SOSNA boundary area will have the opportunity to express their opinions by registering one of the following responses to each project: ‘support’, ‘not-opposed’ or ‘opposed’. Zoning Committee Protocols AGENDA: Projects being presented (order of presentations are up to Zoning Committee discretion):   I. 737 S. 15TH STREET FOR USE OF ONE (1) NON-ACCESSORY, VAN-ACCESSIBLE SURFACE PARKING SPACE ON A VACANT LOT, SIZE AND LOCATION AS SHOWN ON PLAN/APPLICATION; NO SIGNS ON THIS PERMIT. THE PROPOSED USE, NON-ACCESSORY SURFACE PARKING, IS PROHIBITED IN THE RM-1 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, AND IS THEREFORE REFUSED. II. 923 S. 19TH STREET APPLICATION IS FOR THREE (3) FAMILY DWELLING (MULTI- FAMILY DWELLING) IN AN EXISTING STRUCTURE. THE PROPOSED USE IS REFUSED FOR NOT MEETING MINIMUM LOT AREA (3 FAMILY) OF 1,080 SQ FT. III. 2244 ST. ALBANS WAITING ON REFUSAL IV. 2042 ST. ALBANS WAITING ON REFUSAL V. 2128 KATER STREET FOR THE ERECTION OF AN ADDITION TO AN EXISTING ATTACHED STRUCTURE (ADDITION AT 1ST AND 2ND FLOOR REAR, 3RD FLOOR, ROOF DECK AND ROOF DECK ACCESS STRUCTURE). SIZE AND LOCATION AS SHOWN ON PLANS AND APPLICATION. FOR CONTINUED USE AS SINGLE FAMILY HOUSEHOLD LIVING. PROPOSED ZONING DOES NOT MEET OPEN AREA MINIMUM, SETBACK OF STRUCTURE AT 3RD FLOOR LEVEL MINIMUM, AND REAR YARD HEIGHT MINIMUM.
