Celebrate July 4th Weekend at the Museum of the American Revolution, 101 S. 3rd St
Sign
a giant Declaration of Independence, meet costumed historical
interpreters, enjoy America's 241st birthday cake, and explore the
stories behind our nation's founding. Kids can try on
Revolutionary-inspired clothing, design a flag, and make a sash to take
home like the one worn by George Washington.
On July 1, 5-7pm, the Cross Keys Café will host an "Independence Ice Cream Social"
On July 2, 1pm, visitors can enjoy birthday cake celebrating the country's 241st birthday.
On July 3, the Old Barracks Fife and Drum Corps will perform on the Museum's outdoor plaza from Noon to 3:00 p.m.

Art Exhibition at Twenty-Two Gallery, Carol Ashton- Hergenhahn, "The Structure of Things," Now thru Sun, 7/9, 236 S. 22nd St.
Carol Ashton-Hergenhan explores a few select plants from her garden in a
show of new and recent work, "The Structure of Things," at Twenty-Two Gallery.
Within the categories of "Different Views", "Different Times",
Different Parts and "Just Because" Ashton-Hergenhan rotates specimens
in a single image, has sets of pieces that show change over time, or
selects different parts of a plant for individual focus.
