Contributor to KYW Newsradio Larry Kane, at the Plays & Players
Theatre, to discuss his first year in office as the 99th Mayor of
Philadelphia.

Another Big Story... and a big Thank You.
Steve Huntington retires as CCRA Exec. Director.
After
5 years as CCRA's Executive Director, Steve Huntington has retired.
Steve has been a hero for the organization and (we think) for the
neighborhood. Steve was profiled in the current CCQ, on p. 7. You can
find it here.

CCRA's new offices and mailing address, effective Monday (assuming there's no blizzard), will be 1608 Walnut St., 12th Floor, Philadelphia, PA 19103.

Please note:
There
is no Christmas Tree recycling this year at Markward/Taney playground.
If you would like to recycle your tree, you can take it to one of the
following locations now until 1/14. The Recycling Centers are open from 8am 6pm.

Ballroom Dance Classes at Society Hill Dance Academy, beginning Thurs, 1/19, 7pm, 2nd & Pine St.
Society Hill Dance Academy wants to introduce you to the Wonderful World of Ballroom Dancing. The class starts January 19th and meets on Thursday nights at 7 pm for 8 weeks. $250 a couple. You can register online for the class J.

Free Phila Orchestra Concert in Honor of Martin Luther King, Jr.
Monday, January 16, 1:30pm
Girard College Chapel, 2101 S. College Ave
Free tickets will be available on 1/10, 12pm, at philorch.org. The program will also be broadcast live on WRTI 90.1 FM. The Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute Concert is presented by PECO.
