Public Hearing on Water Rate Hike, Thur, 4/7, 8:30 am, Rm 400, City Hall 
The Philadelphia Water Department is seeking a 105 million dollar rate hike increasing bills, on average, 12 % over the next two years.  If you are concerned about your water bill, the quality of your water or why the water department has a rate stabilization fund, you may testify at the hearing or send your testimony in.  If you have ideas that would save money, like combining the Water and Gas works meter reading and billing or ideas that would make the Water Department more efficient, please share them.  Below is water rate hike:
