I wasn't even aware that Meritage had closed let alone that a new restaurant would be opening in that space. According to Philly.com (read here), "Norris and Debbie Jordan, who live nearby,
are fixing it up extensively to yield what he calls a high-end American
bar/restaurant called Lou Bird's..." Guess I have to get out more often.
