SOSNA Newsletter -- Treecycle

Treecycle to Support Carpenter Green Saturday January 9th

Friends & Neighbors,
Hold on to your tree until Saturday for our final treecycling collection and tree chipping event! Drop your tree off between 9am-12:30pm for a $5 donation, or we'll send a team to pick up your tree, right from your curb! Tree pick ups are $20/tree and all of the proceeds will support completing Carpenter Green Park! Don't have a tree? Stop by anyway to check out Carpenter Green and learn about what we've got planned; we'll be joined by Councilman Johnson at 10am and have hot cider and snacks!
To sign up for a tree pick up, click here. Or you can call us for pick up on Saturday between 9am-12pm at 267-332-1180, and make a cash donation upon pick up. To learn more about Carpenter Green check out our Giving Grid. See you Saturday!
Events
Join the SOSNA Safety Committee for a 311 Mobile App Training and Town Watch Neighborhood Group Patrol on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm. These patrols will begin at the SOSNA Office (1901 Christian Street). This is a good opportunity to learn about how to use 311 to resolve neighborhood issues, as well as to check out what Town Watch is all about.

SOSNA is out of recycling bins until the Streets Department makes a delivery in late January. You can always pick up a bin from one of the City's Sanitation Convenience Centers or use any container under 32 gallons, just mark it as 'recycling'.
