SOSNA's Back to School Challenge

Friends & Neighbors,
September is almost upon us, that means it's back to school for our neighborhood kids! Let's make sure the kids have everything they need for another great school year. We've asked our schools what they really need, and it's good old fashioned paper and pencils- so, we're challenging you (the neighborhood) to help us collect 20,000 pencils and 2,000 reams of paper for E.M. Stanton and Chester Arthur Elementary Schools! We're collecting donations at the Triangles Plaza during the special Kids' Edition of the Summer Music Series on August 30th from 5-7PM. You can also drop off or ship donations to the SOSNA office up until September 8th, and you can always order through the schools Amazon wish lists. Click here for more info on how you can help!
Thanks to all who came out and celebrated National Night Out with us at Julian Abele Park on August 4th! We had a great time talking about safety with the Philadelphia Police, the Fire Department and representatives from our local schools. For pictures and a full list of participants, click here!
