Father's Day and Dines Out(side) at the Triangles! Friends and Neighbors,  Tickets are still available for SOSNA's first Dines Out(side) event of the season! Join us on Monday, June 22nd for a dinner under the lights in the urban oasis that is the Triangles Pedestrian Plaza! We've planned a four course menu in collaboration with four amazing local eateries! Tickets are $35, and because our friends at Los Camaradas, Grave Tavern, Honey's and the Igloo have graciously donated the meal, all of the proceeds benefit SOSNA! Bring your friends and enjoy an evening outside with us! On Father's Day (this Sunday, June 21st) bring the family to enjoy an extended Summer Concert and Movie Night at the Triangles Plaza starting at 5pm! This week's concert is a special kids' edition with live music from Melanie Hsu of All Around this World. Then, at 7pm, stick around for the premier of Finding Nemo at the Igloo! They've got a new big screen TV (62"!) to show films in the plaza! And don't make dinner plans, the Taco Mondo truck will be there throughout the entire evening!  Events SOSNA Dines Out(side) The warm weather means SOSNA is once again taking the Dines Out event outdoors to the Grays Ferry Triangles. Join us on Monday, June 22nd at 7:00 PM at the pedestrian plaza at 23rd and South Street for SOSNA Dines Out(side), a delicious neighborhood dinner with proceeds benefiting SOSNA! Tickets and menu, here! Events Triangles Summer Music Series & Movie- Kids Edition! On Father's Day bring the family to enjoy live kids' music, good food and friends at the Summer Music Series at the Grays Ferry Triangles Plaza! On Sunday, June 21st - Father's Day- we'll have a special kid's edition with music by Melanie Hsu and food by Taco Mondo! Then, at 7pm, our friends at the Igloo will premier their new 62-inch flatscreen in their window, showing Finding Nemo for those in the Triangle!  Events SOSNA Summer Social SAVE THE DATE for the SOSNA Summer Social on Saturday, July 18th at Julian Abele Park (22nd and Carpenter/Montrose) from 3pm-8pm. Events Save the Date - Light Up the Night - National Night Out Event - Tuesday, August 4th The SOSNA Safety Committee is thrilled to announce the fifth annual Light Up the Night event on Tuesday, August 4th. This year we are celebrating National Night Out at Julian Abele Park (22nd & Carpenter/Montrose) from 6:00-8:00pm on the 4th. Events 18th & Christian Farmers' Market Join us for our 18th & Christian Farmer's Market re-opening for the season! This market will feature Buzby Farms, a great local farmer from New Jersey. They will have a variety of fruits and vegetables, and will accept cash, FMNP vouchers, ACCESS/EBT cards, and Philly Food Bucks. This market is open every Thursday from 3pm- 7pm at the Christian Street YMCA. Events Habitat for Humanity ReStore Grant Opening Join Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia for their ReStore Grand Opening on June 25th at 10:00am! ReStore is a non-profit home improvement and donation center, that sells new and gently used tools, building material and home goods. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia and their mission to build and repair homes in partnership with Philadelphia families in need.
