Spreading South of South Holiday Cheer! Friends & Neighbors, South of South has lots of upcoming events to get you into the Holiday spirit! We encourage you to shop locally, give back to your community and attend South of South neighborhood community events in the month of December. Is there someone special that you would like to thank for all of their hard work in helping the community this year? Let’s give them a hand! Drop in to the SOSNA office any time this holiday season and, for a $10 dollar donation, you (or your little one) cut out a hand print and write a message to a special person who you would like to thank for their hard work in making our neighborhood a great place to live. Hands will be placed in the SOSNA windows and at night the hands and messages will be illuminated for all to see. SOSNA will also be posting pictures of the hands and shout outs to our Facebook page and Twitter through out the Holiday Season. We also invite you to make a  hand and display it at our Volunteer Appreciation Holiday Party!  Brighten the holidays for neighborhood kids and make sure that they stay warm in this already winter-like weather with the SOSNA Warm & Cozy Winter Drive! Drop off new hats, gloves, scarves and coats at the SOSNA Office (1901 Christian Street) between now and December 18th for students at the Arthur and Stanton Elementary Schools.   The Philly Free School is partnering with Nice Things to present- The Philly Free School Superfantastic Craft Bazaar, a holiday craft show happening on Saturday December 6th from 11-5pm at the Philly Free School. 30+ vendors and coffee by Ultimo! Don't miss the chance to get some unique gifts and support the school!   On December 13th we invite you to join us for a day of shopping on South Street West! Get discounts,treats, and cheer at over 25 participating shops from 12-5pm. Lastly, please Join us for the SOSNA Volunteer Appreciation Holiday Party! We want to thank all of our amazing volunteers for their hard work in 2014. We will also be announcing the winners of the 2014 Streetscape Contest. Don't miss it!
