TOMORROW- SOSNA Board of Directors Elections! Friends and Neighbors,  Tomorrow, Wednesday October 8th is the SOSNA October General Meeting and the election of the 2014-2015 SOSNA Board Directors! The meeting will take place at Shiloh Baptist Church located at 2040 Christian Street and starts at 6:30pm. The polls will be open from 6:30PM-8:30PM and each candidate will have the opportunity to make a 2 minute speech at 7:30PM. Online voter registration is now closed, but you can register to vote at the time of the General Meeting. Come and experience 25 beers on tap, the businesses of South Street West and the organizations of South of South.  Mark your calendars, the next SOSNA Dines Out is October 22nd! This time we will be dining inside at a local South of South neighborhood restaurant. Tickets will be available soon, check the SOSNA Facebook for details! Today is the *last day* for the 2014 season of the Julian Abele Park Farmers Market! The market will be open from from 2:00-7:00PM. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather and stop by the farmers market one last time.  Recently, a young mother lost her life in a tragic bus accident in the neighborhood. She leaves behind a son, Kenny, a student at Stanton Elementary. There has been a memorial fund set up for the family and if you can help them in their time of need, please do.  Events Zoning Committee Meeting The October 15 SOSNA Zoning Committee meeting will take place at the SOSNA OFFICE, 1901 Christian Street, at 7PM. The SOSNA Zoning Committee always meets the third Wednesday of every month starting at 7 PM.   AGENDA for October 17: 1712 Christian Street: Application for the erection of a three story addition, with two interior parking spaces to an accessory existing three story structure, accessory to an existing, attached three story structure, for use as a single family dwelling. 1807 Washington Avenue: Application for the erection of an addition on top of an existing attached structure.
