SOSNA News Letter

Tomorrow SOSNA Zoning Committee Meeting; Next Week- Dines Out(side)
Returns!

Friends and Neighbors,
Join us Monday, September 22nd at 7PM for the
fourth
SOSNA Dines Out(side) event! It is a great (and delicious)
way to meet your neighbors and local business owners, and
support SOSNA!
In other news, unfortunately SOSNA is OUT OF RECYCLING BINS. We
will have more in soon, so check our webiste, Facebook and Twitter, or
stop in to the office to find out when we have them back in stock.
SOSNA doesn't have bins but we do have recycling stickers, which
can be placed on any container! In the absence of a bin, please do
not use plastic bags to hold your recyclables. Plastic bags are in fact
NOT recyclable curbside. Plastic bags tear and wrap around the
moving parts in recycling processing machines and systems, leading
to increased maintenance costs, equipment damage, and even worker
safety issues. In order to safely recycle plastic bags return them to drop
off locations at specially-marked recycling bins located at the front of
most supermarkets, large grocery or big box stores.
Lastly, if you would like a FREE yard tree you're in luck! Philadelphia Parks and Recreation's TreePhilly
program Fall Yard Tree Giveaway is open for registration until September 30
th.
DON'T FORGET 2014-2015 SOSNA BOARD ELECTIONS ARE TAKING PLACE OCTOBER 8TH! REGISTER TO VOTE!
