*** POSTPONED *** Councilman Johnson Quality of Life Tour at the Triangles

Dear neighbors:
Due to an iffy forecast for this evening, Councilman Johnson has decided to POSTPONE tonight's Quality of Life Tour.
It will be rescheduled to a date/time TBD.  Stay tuned. . .
Tomorrow night if the weather cooperates live music returns to the Grays Ferry Triangles - 6 PM at 23rd and South.
Poi Boy food truck will be serving!
Jazz at Julian Abele Park returns on Tuesday June 17 at 6:30 PM at 22nd and Carpenter Street. And on Saturday
June 21st is Make Music Philly at Julian Abele Park from 12-8 PM! Details here.

this event to a date/time TBD ***
MARK YOUR CALENDARS . . . Councilman Johnson, in conjunction with SOSNA, is going to
hold another Quality of Life Tour at the Grays Ferry Triangles on Wednesday June 11 from 6-8 PM.  This tour
allows citizens to connect with city agencies and services. The Councilman will be joined by representatives from
the following agencies to hear your concerns and take your questions about all issues related to city government:
Every Thursday night this summer come enjoy live music, good food and meet your fellow
neighbors at the Triangles Summer Music Series.  On Thursday June 12, come see Steve
Giordano and John Swana play, and eat food from Poi Dog
The June 18 SOSNA Zoning Committee meeting will take place at Shiloh Baptist Church,
2040 Christian Street, at 7.
The SOSNA Zoning Committee always meets the third Wednesday of every month
starting at 7 PM.
AGENDA for June 18:
  • 1822 Fitzwater Street: Use of rear yard as an off-street parking space.
  • 2118 Catharine Street: Demolition of existing home and erection of single-family home with garage in the
    rear on Webster Street.
  • 2245 League Street: Demolition of an existing home and erection of a three-story home adjacent to
    2 two-story homes.
  • 1909 League Street: Erection of a rear deck.

June 14 - 2nd Neighborhood Clean Up Day - 20th Street

Join the SOSNA Clean & Green committee to help beautify our neighborhood.  Meet at 9 AM at
20th and Washington.  We'll be cleaning 20th Street between South and Washington.  Throughout the Spring and
Summer the Clean & Green committee teams up to participate in the clean ups organized by
the Philadelphia More Beautiful Committee.
Come out to the future site of Carpenter Green (17th and Carpenter) for a casual afternoon
with friends neighbors playing lawn games (bocce, anyone??), eating some burgers and
dogs, and listening to some live music. 
WHEN:  Saturday, June 14th, 3-6 PM
